Poet Carl Phillips read from his work Oct. 14, 2010 as part of the Cornell Creative Writing Program Fall 2010 Reading Series.
Phillips has published eleven books of poetry, most recently Speak Low (2009), a finalist for a National Book Award, and Quiver of Arrows: Selected Poems 1986-2006 (2007). He is a professor of English and African & African-American studies at Washington University in St. Louis.
