Chemist, poet and Nobel laureate Roald Hoffmann discusses Madame Lavoisier and her contributions to chemistry alongside her husband Antoine Lavoisier. Hoffmann is the Frank H.T. Rhodes Professor of Humane Letters at Cornell University, where many Lavoisier artifacts are housed.
This video is part of the materials accompanying the DVD recording of the University of Wisconsin-Madison's theatre production of the play "Oxygen," written by Hoffmann and Carl Djerassi.
