In the second of his three Messenger Lectures, bilingual author Amara Lakhous deconstructs European immigration policy, arguing that immigration, particularly from the Muslim world, has become a 'bargaining chip' in politics and the media. Lakhous is the 2014-15 Luigi Einaudi Chair in European and International Studies at Cornell.
