Affordability, access, policy, reform, delivery, quality, funding, research...today's topics are numerous, the solutions for tomorrow are obscure. On January 18, a panel of distinguished Cornellians brought an accumulation of knowledge and experience to bear on one of the most critical issues of our time.
The conversation was moderated by Philip R. Reilly, M.D., '69, venture partner at Third Rock Ventures and member of the Cornell University Board of Trustees. Participating were Laurie H. Glimcher, M.D., Stephen and Suzanne Weiss Dean, Weill Cornell Medical College, and provost for medical affairs of Cornell University; Gene D. Resnick, M.D., '70, MD '74, chief medical officer and executive vice president of Aptiv Solutions and alumni trustee member of the Cornell University Board of Trustees; Katrina S. Firlik, M.D., '91, chief medical officer and co-founder of HealthPrize; and Ruben J. King-Shaw Jr. '83, managing partner and chief investment officer at Mansa Capital and member of the Cornell University Board of Trustees.
